Here you will find some of my favourite poems. I think they are very good. These poem are also for all my friends as well as my visitors to enjoy. Hope you will like them! 

 

A  POEM  OF  FRIENDSHIP

A friend is someone to behold,
to laugh with and chat with,
when warm or cold,
someone to comfort you
when you're blue,
to talk about the old and new.

One has many acquaintances in life,
but when there is sorrow or strife,
a friend is someone who will
understand,
to lend an ear or a helping hand.

It matters not where you are,
whether you are near or far,
around the world or across the street,
a friend is someone we like to meet.

So when life's little troubles get
you down,
try to smile, do not frown,
turn on the computer,
or pick up the phone,
with friends, you are never alone.

FRIENDSHIP

There's a miracle of Friendship,
      That dwells within  the heart,
  And you don't know how it happen,
        Or where it get its start...
    But the happiness it brings you,
      Always give a special lift,
   And you realize that Friendship
    Is god's most perfect gift.

Friendship

Each of us has a hidden place
Somewhere deep within ourselves;
A place where we go to get away,
To think things through,
To be alone, to be ourselves.

This unique place, where we confront our deepest feelings,
Becomes a storehouse of all our hopes,
All our needs, all our dreams,
And even our unspoken fears.
It encompasses the essence of who we are and what we want to be.

But now and then, whether by chance or design,
Someone discovers a way into that place we thought was ours alone.
And we allow that person to see, to feel and to share
All the reason, all the uncertainty
And all the emotion we've stored up there.

That person adds new perspective to our hidden realm,
Then quietly settles down in his own corner of our special place,
Where a bit of himself will stay forever.

And we call that person a friend.

I Will Be There 

Promises I do not make everyday,
But to you, you have my word,
I will be there.
When your back is up against the wall,
And you need somewhere to turn,
I will be there.
When the world seems on your back,
And you want a little weight lifted,
I will be there.
When your days become darkened,
And you need someone to light the way,
I will be there.
When the pressures start getting to you,
And you want a tender touch,
I will be there.
When you appear to be outnumbered,
And all you need is a friend,
I will be there.
When you have succeeded in something special,
And you want someone to share it with,
I will be there.
Whenever you need or want someone,
And all you can do is hope,
I will be there.
