Fill a gift bag with suckers you make in your kitchen!
Unwrap candy and
place in a zip lock plastic bag. Wrap plastic bag in dish towel and then
pound carefully with mallet.
Pour pieces of candy into the metal cookie cutters that have been placed on
a cookie sheet. Bake at 350 F for 6 - 8 minutes. Have a parent take the pan
out of the oven.
Let the pan sit for a few seconds before removing cookie cutters.7. Lift the
cutters straight up with a pair of tongs and place in a bowl of warm water.
Quickly add sticks to warm suckers. Let suckers cool on pan or place in the
freezer until hard. Suckers can be wrapped in wax paper or colored plastic
wraps, but I prefer using plastic candy/treat bags and tying it closed with
a piece of curling ribbon.
